In Florence, you'll discover the homoerotic undercurrents running through the Uffizi and the Accademia, from Donatello's David to Michelangelo's Slaves. In Naples, the Secret Cabinet of the Archaeological Museum reveals the erotic art that was locked away from public view for over a century. And in Pompeii, sexuality is the special theme as you explore the ancient city's brothels, frescoes, and surprisingly frank private lives.

Capri, the pearl of the Mediterranean and Europe's original gay playground, reveals its two-thousand-year record of same-sex love, from Emperor Tiberius to Oscar Wilde himself, who spent a night at the Villa San Michele after being turned away from the island's main hotel.

Rome brings it all together: four days exploring the queer histories of the Caesars, Caravaggio, Hadrian and his lover Antinous (worshipped as a god after his death), and the hidden underground ruins of a Roman senator's palace that no standard tour ever visits.
