The Thompsons Arms

Mixed group 40s/50s/60s, straights and gays spent over £470 in this bar over two days and then went back on Sunday. The manager was on duty and said Regulars only I'm not serving yous!!! Not a sorry or an explanation. Every bar in village made us all welcome and they were crowded and all great atmospheres. This bar had 3 people in it. I assume the regulars!!!. Who ever owns this bar needs to get a new manager in. He is costing you money and customers and from reviews on a lot of websites we are not the only ones to get this treatment.

I was told to leave because I wasn’t a regular, which I am. Then I was told to leave because of what I was wearing. Obvious queer women aren’t welcome here anymore only white men. Manager is a coward he just passes on nasty messages to his door staff. Avoid like the plague, not a safe space for gay people!

Disgusting bar, broken glass all over the place and the staff here absolutely stink - no I'm not just saying that we actually had to move table away from the bouncer as he smelled really ill? Wouldn't mind if they didn't randomly ask you to leave just when you bought a drink too!
