Kai Club - (폐쇄)

New address is 工体西路 , 天堂超市隔壁 Workers' Stadium West Road, Chaoyang, near the Bus Station and the Heaven Supermarket. It's in the basement. Still, great club!

I looked for this bar 3 different nights. Each map I looked up the location or address gave me a different place. I did find a bar/restaurant on the third floor of where this place should be, but it didn't say Kai Club and it was not a gay bar. From speaking to local friends they don't like this bar as its a dive bar with no atmosphere.

Has been around for ever and still packs them in. The. building has been renovated and upgraded and the bar slightly changed but overall it's the same as before. Not sure if it's really gay still. In any event, the branded liqueurs served seem dodgy - not the real thing. Ambiance is lively and animated.

Kai is one of the oldest gay bar here in the city it's cheap and fun ,it gets packed almost every night after 11pm! It's too crowded on Friday and Saturday so probably come later than 1am and stay till the end
