The building has a retro feel, with a glass dome roof, bronze elevators and checkerboard floors. The Ritz-Carlton often has pop-up shops and museum installations, great for art lovers. It also hosts holiday-time activities such as gingerbread house decorating.
The hotel's restaurant, Aqimero, offers Latin-American cuisine underneath the glass dome. After dinner, you have the option of exploring the city's gay nightlife. This includes Tabu and Tavern on Camac, which are both only a 10-minute walk away.
