Manse Pride 2026: dates, parade, information

Manse Pride 2026 will celebrate its 12th edition from June 8–14, 2026, transforming the city of Tampere into Finland’s colorful center of LGBTQ+ pride and inclusivity.

Organized by Sinuiksi ry, in partnership with the City of Tampere, the week-long festival continues to highlight the city’s strong community spirit and progressive values. Known affectionately as “Manse,” Tampere’s nickname stems from its industrial heritage and cultural parallels to Manchester, England.

While the 2026 theme is still TBA, we've outlined what you can expect based on past Manse Pride events.

Manse Pride March and Main Celebration

The highlight of the week is the Manse Pride March and main celebration, typically held in Sorsapuisto (Duck Park). Previous editions have drawn thousands of participants, with colorful parades, live music, drag performances, and community-led activities filling the park throughout the day.

Community and Culture

Beyond the parade, Manse Pride Week features panel discussions, art exhibitions, film screenings, and parties spread across the city. Its community-focused atmosphere distinguishes it from Helsinki Pride, offering a more intimate celebration that blends Finnish culture, equality, and pride in a lakeside setting just two hours from the capital.
