Gay Long Beach

Long Beach is often referred to as “the hipster sibling of Los Angeles”, with an eclectic population, recent gentrification and countless boutiques, coffee shops and historical speakeasies. Long Beach has always been a mecca for the outcasts and oddballs and as such it has a unique identity characterised by its creativity and individual charm.

Long Beach has been popular with the LGBT+ community long before it reached mainstream “coolness”. At times it can seem that the gay community far outnumbers heterosexual people in the area, and this may be true. Long Beach is home to a vibrant, established and lively gay scene that can be enjoyed in the area’s countless gay bars and clubs.
